LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Uma Thurman says “Kill Bill 3” may be on the way.

“[Quentin Tarantino] has a great idea for it,” she told Access Hollywood at the junket for her latest film, “Motherhood.” “We’ll have to see what happens.”

In a recent appearance on the Italian talk show “Parla con Me,” the director said he was aiming for 2014 for a sequel to 2004’s Uma-starring “Kill Bill 2,” though no concrete plans have been made for the film.

“One, I think me and Uma needed a 10-year break,” Quentin said at the time. “And the second one, I love the character and I think she deserves 10 years of peace.”

However, one star who will be absent from a possible sequel is David Carradine, who was found dead earlier this year in Thailand. The actor played the title role of Bill, who was indeed killed in the second film.

“I’m very sorry for his passing,” Uma told Access. “He was wonderful to work with. He was a great a great man.”

Uma’s latest, “Motherhood,” is due in theaters on October 23.
