UPDATE: No Arrests In Paris Hilton & BF Hit & Run

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Caption Paris Hilton appears at the Clark County Regional Justice Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 20, 2010 Paris Hilton and boyfriend Cy Waits were involved in a car accident with the paparazzi on Thursday morning, in which Waits was cited for misdemeanor hit and run, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The incident took place early Thursday morning outside Boa restaurant in West Hollywood, Calif., when photographers swarmed the couple as they were leaving.

As Waits attempted to leave, a woman photographer was struck by the couple’s car.

A spokesperson for the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department told Access that Waits was cited, pending investigation, because he left the scene of the incident to drive Hilton home, but they were aware that he was leaving and he did return to speak with authorities.

The Sheriff’s Department told Access that Waits was not arrested and the incident is still an ongoing investigation.

The spokesperson also said the paparazzi were blocking the roadway and they are investigating the actions of photographers as well.

Early this morning Hilton Tweeted about the incident, writing, “Lovely evening with friends and family ruined by aggressive paparazzi. They are literally insane!”
