UPDATE: Tom & Katie’s Last Minute Wedding Details

As Italy is injected with some serious star power for Tom and Katie’s wedding this weekend in Italy, new details are flowing in from the tiny town of Bracciano.

Access Hollywood has learned that Tom’s ex, Nicole Kidman, sent the newlyweds-to-be a wedding present.

“We did in fact find out that Nicole sent Tom and Katie a wedding present. We don’t know what it is, but we do know that she included a note wishing the couple a lifetime of happiness,” People magazine senior editor Galina Espinoza told Access’ Billy Bush.

And Tom’s other ex, Penelope Cruz, reportedly had 100 white roses delivered to the couple’s hotel room.

Meanwhile, more of Tom and Katie’s high-profile friends touched down overseas to attend the wedding.

Victoria and David Beckham arrived from England around 3:40 p.m. and Will Smith came in from Miami to join wife Jada Pinkett Smith, who arrived on Thursday.

“I just came to have a good time in Italy,” Will joked with paparazzi upon his arrival.

However, Access has learned of one celebrity pal who won’t be making the journey to Italy for the wedding - Steven Spielberg.

A rep for Spielberg told Access the legendary director and his wife were invited but regrettably can’t attend due to a previous family commitment.

On Thursday night, Jada left the Hassler hotel (about 30 miles away from Castello Odescalchi where the wedding ceremony will be held) along with J. Lo and Brooke Shields for the pre-wedding dinner at Nino.

The next morning it was time for a little shopping.

“Brooke Shields and her husband Chris Henchy left their hotel on Friday morning and walked down the Spanish steps to the Villa Condoti to do some shopping,” Galina told Billy.

But as far as the wedding itself, Tom and Katie will exchange vows in a unique ceremony.

As it turns out, the scientology wedding service is not that far off from a traditional service.

“In the nuptials, the couple promises to never go to bed angry. They also each hold a ring. Two rings together and in the middle, there is a triangle. Each of the points represents affinity, communication and reality,” Billy explained to Galina.

But have Tom and Katie fooled us all? Could the couple already be married?

Galina set the record straight.

“We just confirmed that no legal or civil ceremony took place today contrary to all the rumors. Tom’s rep told People magazine that the ceremony is taking place [Saturday], that’s the only thing happening,” Galina told Billy.
