‘Vampire Diaries’ Wants Taylor Swift

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Taylor Swift is rumored to be dating “New Moon’s” hottest werewolf, but if one TV mogul has his way, she’ll be joining the clan of the vampires.

Kevin Williamson, the developer behind The CW’s hit show “The Vampire Diaries,” wants the country cutie for his drama, E! News reported.

“I’m desperate to have [Swift] come play a vampire,” Kevin told E!

Kevin thinks the blonde chanteuse is reminiscent of another actress.

“Wouldn’t she make an amazing Kristen Dunst circa ‘Interview With the Vampire’ type?” he said. “I cannot tell you how hard I’m trying to get her – I would kill to have her on the show.”

But he isn’t expecting it to happen.

She’s “too big for ‘Vampire Diaries’ now,” he said of the singer who picked up four awards, including Entertainer of the Year, at Wednesday night’s CMA Awards.

In the meantime, Taylor also has a movie coming up with the other Taylor — Mr. Lautner — the ensemble cast project, “Valentine’s Day.”
