LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

She’s married to one of the hottest men in the world, but when Victoria Beckham thinks about her own looks, she refers to them as simply “ordinary.”

“As you can see, I’m a normal-looking girl, and I just make the best of what I have,” Posh told Allure magazine’s August issue. “I’m not out-of-the-ordinary-looking at all – I’m incredibly ordinary.”

In fact, the former Spice Girl, who claims she has hung up her microphone, said it takes her just an hour-and-a-half – dressing, hair and make up included, to get ready for an event. And as for her fabulous looks – she pieces them together on her own.

“I don’t have a stylist,” Posh revealed. “I deal with that side of things myself. If I need accessories, I’ll go get them myself.”

So how did she get known for being such a fashion icon then? Posh blames her days as a pop star.

“I kind of created this character at the beginning of the Spice Girls,” she said. “I didn’t smile very much; it was quite pouty. I was famous for wearing a little black Gucci dress. [Except], it wasn’t a little black Gucci dress, it was a little black High Street dress. It was incredibly cheap. I just accessorized it well and had the pose that went with it. And it stuck.”

One thing that hasn’t stuck, despite the move to Hollywood, is the acting bug. Though she has appeared – as herself – in an episode of “Ugly Betty,” the star said she has no wish to continue in that field.

“I’m not the kind of person that stands there and loves the attention,” Victoria said. “It might look that way, but it makes me very, very nervous. I don’t sing anymore. I’m the only person in Hollywood who doesn’t want to act, has no intention of acting.”

She does intend, however, to have a bigger family – in the future, anyway.

“I’d love to have a girl, but at the end of the day, that’s not something I can [control],” Posh said. “At the moment, we’re fine, the five of us. At some point, I’d love to have a girl, you know – just for all the clothes I’ve got to hand down. It would be tremendous fun.”
