LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Brad Pitt has said he would liked to make a film that his children could enjoy – and now his six kids will only have to wait a little over a year to hear their dad voice a superhero in the upcoming animated movie, “Oobermind.”
During an interview on NBC’s “Today” show that aired Tuesday, Brad told Ann Curry that he’d play a “superhero who wants out.”
The movie, which is slated to debut in theaters in November 2010, will also feature the voice talents of Tina Fey, Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell and Jonah Hill.
According to Variety, Brad plays a fallen hero, Metro Man, who is defeated by Oobermind, played by Will Ferrell.
“It’s just something they’ll enjoy,” Brad said of his kids, “And that’s cool.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Brad said he’s also open to the idea of working with partner Angelina on a kid friendly project.
“We’ll see what comes up,” Brad told Access earlier this month at the LA premiere of “Inglourious Basterds.” “We’re open… we’re open for anything.”
