X Factor Rep: Britney Spears Did Not Walk Off The Set

“She just took a short break,” a spokesperson for the FOX reality show told Access Hollywood on Thursday.

On Thursday, TMZ reported the pop princess had “walked off the set” of the Simon Cowell-helmed show on her first day of judging after a contestant reportedly “butchered” her hit, “Hold It Against Me.”

Britney also shot down the report, Tweeting, “#Britneywalksoff??? LOL was just taking a little break people. I am having the BEST time!!!”

“The X Factor” will premiere in the fall on FOX.
