Zooey Deschanel ‘Super Excited’ To Be An Aunt

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Following “Bones” star Emily Deschanel’s announcement that she’s expecting, sister and fellow actress Zooey Deschanel took to Twitter to congratulate her older sister on the exciting baby news.

“My big sister, Emily (aka bones) Deschanel and her husby, David Hornsby, are going to have a baby!” Zooey Tweeted on Thursday.

“I am super excited to be an aunt!” the “Your Highness” star and She & Him singer added.

Earlier on Thursday, Emily’s rep confirmed to People that the actress and husband David Hornsby are expecting their first child.

The 34-year-old “Bones” star and writer-actor – who has appeared on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” – reportedly began dating in 2007 and wed in September 2010.

According to the mag, Emily is due later this year.
