’23 Jump Street’ Coming Soon

Schmidt and Jenko will be back!

Sony Pictures has begun working on “23 Jump Street,” a threequel to “21 Jump Street” and this year’s “22 Jump Street,” Deadline reported.

Rodney Rothman, who was one of the writers on the last film, will pen the third installment of the Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill-led movie, according to the website.

No word yet on whether Christopher Miller and Phil Lord (who directed the previous two) will return to helm the third film.

The first movie, released in 2012, saw Channing and Jonah as undercover cops sent back to high school on a drug sting mission.

In the second film, which grossed $320 million, the pair was sent to college on another police mission and wound up in Mexico on Spring Break.
