Placed at 6:35 AM on Thursday by plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif, the husband of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof-Nassif, the doctor was calm and collected and defiant in Sheen’s wish not to call 911 after speaking with him moments earlier.

“I just got a call from the residence of Charlie Sheen, from the secretary… He’s saying don’t call 911, but I got him on the phone and he was very, very intoxicated – also, apparently, in a lot of pain. Kind of weird, the phone call I received.”

The call lasted around five minutes. Most of the time was spent figuring out directions to Sheen’s gated community.

Despite reports that another 911 call was placed by a woman inside Sheen’s home, Access Hollywood has confirmed with the fire department there was no other call.

Maloof-Nassif visited “The Ellen DeGeneres” show on Tuesday, taping an episode set to air Wednesday, where she gave her own version of the events of last Thursday.

“It was early in the morning and a woman on the phone was saying that she needed to talk to my husband. And I said, ‘Well, who is this?’ and she said she was calling about Charlie Sheen. And I knew at that time it must have been something important because it was about 5 in the morning. So my husband got on the phone and the woman was saying that he had stomach cramps, bad stomach cramps, and she’s not really sure what’s going on,” Maloof-Nassif said.

Maloof-Nassif told DeGeneres that her husband told the woman to call 911, but her husband ended up being the one who got in touch with authorities.

“What he did was say, ‘You gotta call 911 right away,’ and he hung up the phone and he just thought that he wanted to make sure that 911 gets there and that’s what he did. He called 911,” she said. “Charlie’s been a good friend of ours for years. They got married at our house, Brooke [Mueller] and Charlie, so we were there for him.”

The “Real Housewife” said she remains concerned for her neighbor.

“I think he’s going to take it day by day. He’s going through a difficult time,” she said. “I obviously feel for Brooke and his children. But it’s going to be an up hill climb for him.”
