A Look Ahead: Who Should Be The Next ‘Bachelor’?

On the “Bachelorette” finale, we watched Ashley Hebert get engaged to her final suitor, JP Rosenbaum. With the “Bachelor Pad” premiering next week, it’s only a matter of time until ABC announces who will be handing out the roses next season.

In the meantime, AccessHollywood.com breaks down the top four guys most likely to be dubbed the new “Bachelor”:

Ben Flajnik – On the final episode, Ben literally got down on one knee and proposed to Ashley, but was quickly rejected. Because of his second-place status, the winemaker seems like the most logical choice to be the next “Bachelor.” His quirky personality provided entertainment throughout the season, and his sensitive side also comes out while talking about his late father. The only thing holding Ben back from being the “Bachelor” is Ben himself… Is he over Ashley? If so, would he want to go through the journey all over again?

Ryan Park – While Ryan was eliminated on his first one-on-one date with Ashley, he came back at the end of the season and tried to get another chance with her. After following her to Fiji, he was rejected yet again. In recent interviews, Ashley has said that he would make an excellent “Bachelor.” His overwhelming, enthusiastic personality bothered many of the guys in the house, but would it bother girls competing for his love?

Ames Brown – Ashley sent him packing after their romantic hometown date, breaking Ames’ heart. But during his time on the show, he gained a solid fan following, due to his interesting, spontaneous lifestyle. Not to mention is he the smartest man to ever appear on the show (with degrees from Harvard, Yale and Columbia). Ames would be an awesome “Bachelor,” but the fact that he’s appearing on the “Bachelor Pad” could hinder his chances.

Mystery Man – For multiple seasons now, the Bachelor/Bachelorettes were previous contestants in the franchise. ABC hasn’t introduced a new person with a clean slate for a long time, so could this be the season that they do?
