Access Exclusive: Enrique Iglesias’ Rep Confirms Singer Won’t Tour With Britney Spears

Enrique Iglesias will not be hitting the road with Britney Spears, Access Hollywood can exclusively reveal.

On Tuesday morning, during an appearance on “Good Morning America,” Britney Spears herself announced she was going to hit the road in June with the Latin heartthrob, but a rep for Enrique exclusively tells Access he won’t be on the trek.

“Unfortunately, Enrique Iglesias and Britney Spears will not be touring together,” the rep said in a statement to Access on Tuesday evening.

Instead, Enrique will be continuing his solo tour in support of his album “Euphoria,” the rep said.

While Enrique won’t be joining the pop princess as she tours in support of her new album, “Femme Fatale,” which was released on Tuesday, he had kind words for the singer.

“Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work,” the rep’s statement continued. “He is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone.”

Britney’s tour will begin on June 17 in Sacramento, Calif., and will conclude on August 13 in Toronto, spanning 26 different cities in the two-month period.

Enrique is currently on a sold-out European tour, in support of “Euphoria,” his latest album, which features collaborations with Akon, Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, and Usher.
