Access Fashion: Emmy Red Carpet Replicas

LOS ANGELES (August 31, 2006) — Stars like Evangeline Lilly and Eva Longoria dazzled on the Emmy red carpet, with the help of their designer gowns.

But now, Access reveals how you can own these gorgeous gowns for less ? a whole lot less!

From the moment the celebs step on the Emmy red carpet, the folks at Faviana, a New York-based design company, work tirelessly for two days straight studying photos, picking fabrics, sketching, drawing, draping and sewing to recreate those knock out numbers at a fraction of the price.

Faviana’s Omid Moradi loved Evangeline Lilly’s purple Versace which costs thousands of dollars, so they created a $298 design (pictured above).

“Purple was a huge color on the carpet,” Omid told Access.

And to snag Eva Longoria’s crisp white $5,000 Jason Wu stunner, rock the replica for $268.

Eva’s fellow “Housewife” Felicity Huffman wore a beautiful Monique Lhullier gown and Faviana has duplicated it, all the way down to the sparkly brooch.

“The Monique Lhullier dress will retail at $2,750. Faviana’s version will retail at just $258,” Omid revealed.

And since we can’t all wear custom couture like Julia-Louis Dreyfus, we can still work the Emmy worthy silk charmeuse and French lace frock from Faviana.

But how much are we talking?

“Well this was a custom made dress, so it could cost thousands of dollars,” Omid continued. “The Faviana version will retail for just $268.”
