Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos, “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm, along with “Desperate Housewives” hunk James Denton, Billy Bob Thornton and Jennie Finch are getting ready to play ball!
The stars will be part of the Taco Bell Legends & Celebrity Softball Game on Sunday June 11, 2010, as part of Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game fesitivities.
“I definitely need to get to the batting cages to take some swings and to the park to shag some ground balls so I don’t embarrass fellow members of the ‘Nation,’ but I’m so honored to be representing the Red Sox, baseball’s best franchise, in this year’s All-Star game!” Maria said.
This year’s All-Star Game will be held in Anaheim, Calif. (For more info, visit AllStarGame.com).
It’s not the first time Maria has taken the field with MLB – she also played in the celebrity game during the 2008 All-Star events in New York City.
