Adam Lambert To Share ‘Tonight Show’ Stage With Sarah Palin

Adam Lambert will perform on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on March 2, NBC has confirmed to Access Hollywood – the same night former Alaska governor Sarah Palin will appear on the show.

Audiences will be curious to see how Palin, the 2008 Vice Presidential candidate, who is not a supporter of LBGT issues, reacts to the racy performance style of the openly gay former “American Idol” runner-up.

As previously reported by AccessHollywood.com, Adam stated on his Web site that he would be performing his track “Music Again” on the episode. Adam had previously announced his appearance before it was officially confirmed by “The Tonight Show.”

Also joining the show on Tuesday night to help kick off Jay Leno’s first week back will be Olympic snowboarding gold medalist Shaun White. Fellow gold medal alpine skiing champ Lindsey Vonn will join Jay on Monday along with Jamie Foxx and musical guest Brad Paisley.

And the “Jersey Shore” gang will stop by “The Tonight Show” on March 3 for “Jaywalk All-Stars,” while the most decorated American Winter Olympian of all time, speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno, will join the fun on Wednesday. Avril Lavigne will serve as musical guest.

Other notable guests for Jay’s first two weeks back at “The Tonight Show” desk include Matthew McConaughey (March 4), Morgan Freeman (March 5), Simon Cowell (March 8), Kim Kardashian (March 11) and Dakota Fanning (March 12).
