Adele rocked our world on Friday with the surprise drop of her new song “Hello,” and the accompanying music video.
We listened to the song on repeat all day (full disclosure: probably will again today) and we were in good company, as many of the British singer’s famous fans took to social media to share their emotional reactions to the blessing that is new Adele music.
While Katy Perry, Sam Smith, Kelly Clarkson Lena Dunham, Chloe Grace Moretz, Russell Crowe and many other stars Tweeted/Instagrammed about “Hello,” it was Kate Hudson who really captured what we are feeling.

“When @adele puts out a new single… She’s done it again! #Hello #25 #SheHadMeAtHello,” Kate captioned an Insta pic of herself wearing headphones and holding a pillow, with tears running down her face. (Same, Kate. Same.)
