Affleck, Stone, McConaughey, Cooper & More Lined Up For Stand Up To Cancer Broadcast

Ben Affleck, Emma Stone, Matthew McConaughey, Bradley Cooper

Ben Affleck, Matthew McConaughey, Josh Gad, Emma Stone and Anna Kendrick are among the stars lined up for the fifth biennial Stand Up To Cancer broadcast, which raises funds for cancer research.

Airing Friday, Sept. 9, beginning at 8 PM, the live broadcast will also feature Eric Stonestreet, Alison Sweeney, Niecy Nash, Marcia Cross, Greg Grunberg, Danielle Campbell, Charlie Wilson, Ken Jeong, Brittany Daniel and SU2C co-founder Katie Couric.

ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, along with American Forces Network, ASPiRE, Audience Network, Bloomberg TV, Bravo, Comedy Central, Discovery Life, E! Entertainment, Epix, ESPNews, FM, FS2,Fusion, FXM, Great American Country, HBO, HLN, ION Television, LMN, Logo, MLB Network, National Geographic, Pivot, RLTV, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, Starz, Starz Encore, TBS, Tr3s, VH1, and WGN America will air the broadcast, which will air from The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles.

Bradley Cooper is the broadcast’s executive producer, and will also appear during the big event.

“We all have a reason to stand up,” Bradley said in a release. “Stand Up To Cancer is a sustained movement that impacts millions of lives. We honor the personal stories that motivate individuals to fight, and that highlight the urgent need to get new methods of treatment to the patients who so desperately need them.”
