It appears that even the hallowed TV halls of McKinley High aren’t immune to real viruses.
Production on “Glee’s” post-Super Bowl episode was canceled on Friday due to tonsilitis, a rep for 20th Century Fox confirmed to Access Hollywood.
Dianna Agron, who plays head cheerleader Quinn Fabray on the show, revealed on her Twitter page on Friday that she was one of the unwell members of the cast.
“Note to self…should have gotten a flu shot. In bed, hoping that medicine, soup, my computer and a marathon of movies will be the cure.”
Kevin McHale, who plays Artie Abrams, also Tweeted about feeling unwell.
“I think my nose is moments from falling off,” he wrote.
Mark Salling, who plays bad boy Puck, appeared to be one of the lucky ones who managed to stay healthy.
“Nothin like a little… golf on an unexpected day off,” he Tweeted, linking to a picture of an outdoor setting.
Lea Michele, who plays glee club singing sensation Rachel Berry, also appeared to have avoided catching what was going around.
“What a beautiful relaxing day!” she posted on her Twitter page. “Went on an awesome hike and just [had] a massage! So happy it’s the weekend! :)”
According to Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the news, production on the “Glee” post-Super Bowl episode starts back up on Monday, however, the scenes the group planned to shoot on Friday, will now be shot in January.
