Ain’t That A Kick In The Head: Bruce Willis Injured

LOS ANGELES (January 25, 2007) — Nicole Kidman isn’t the only A-lister to sustain injury on a Southern California set. Details have emerged that Bruce Willis was hurt while filming the latest ‘Die Hard’ installment Wednesday.

Access Hollywood has learned Willis was kicked in the forehead, above his right eye during a fight scene.

Fox Studios confirmed the actor was sent to a doctor and went home the same day. The incident was “no big deal,” a representative said.

Timothy Olyphant who is playing Willis’ sparring partner, Greg in the movie appeared on Fox’s “Mike & Juliet” earlier today to promote his most recent film “Catch and Release.” When asked about Willis’ recent injury, he jokingly addressed Bruce at home saying, “toughen up.”

Willis returned to the ‘Die Hard’ set this morning, sources tell Access.

Several other A-listers have found themselves with injuries as a result of movie shoots in the past. Halle Berry broke her right arm during ?Gothika? and hurt herself colliding with equipment on the ?Catwoman? set. Russell Crowe dislocated his shoulder during training for ?Cinderella Man,? requiring arthroscopic repair surgery and physical therapy. Tom Cruise also ran into film set trouble, separating six ribs during ?M:i:III? filming.
