Alan Panettiere Released On Bail, Appears Out In Public With Wife

Alan Panettiere, the father of “Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere, was released on bail yesterday, following his arrest for felony domestic violence.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Alan was arrested in the early hours of Monday morning for allegedly assaulting his wife, Lesley Panettiere, the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department previously confirmed to Access.

West Hollywood Sheriffs were called to the Panettiere’s West Hollywood residence around 3 AM Monday morning after a “difference of opinion” between the couple led to a fight, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Department told Access.

The spokesperson said that while at a party earlier in the night, an incident occurred where Alan felt Lesley disrespected him. He allegedly hit Lesley on the cheek more than once, the spokesperson said.

Lesley called the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department directly to report the alleged incident.

After West Hollywood Sheriffs arrived on the scene, Alan was arrested on a felony count of domestic violence. Authorities told Access there were visible signs of injury on Lesley.

Alan’s bail was set at $50,000.

On Monday afternoon, following the incident, Alan and Lesley were both spotted and photographed walking a dog together in Los Angeles. Lesley was wearing white sunglasses during the outing.
