Alcohol Suspected In ‘Prison Break’ Actor’s Car Crash

Former “Prison Break” star Lane Garrison was involved in a car accident late on Saturday in Beverly Hills that killed a 17-year-old boy and injured two other teenagers, Access Hollywood has learned.

According to the Beverly Hills Police Department, Garrison, who was driving the vehicle, “displayed symptoms of alcohol intoxication” and the investigation is “ongoing.”

At approximately 11:52 p.m., Beverly Hills police responded to a radio call of an “unknown injury traffic accident” on Beverly Drive.

According to police, Garrison was driving north when it struck the center median and lost control, ultimately striking a tree. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.

Garrison and the shotgun passenger had been assisted from the vehicle from passersby while the two passengers in the backseat had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Beverly Hills Fire Department.

Garrison, who played “Tweener” on the FOX jailhouse drama, reportedly received minor injuries, but a 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at Cedars Sinai Medical Center following the accident.

Two 15-year-old girls were also injured, one of which is still in serious condition. The other female passenger was released from the hospital.

In addition to Garrison’s “symptoms of alcohol intoxication,” police also claim they found alcohol containers inside the SUV.
