Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas got married in June, however, the happy couple has yet to celebrate their nuptials with a honeymoon — but that’s about to change.
Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush caught up with the pair on the red carpet at Sunday’s Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, where they revealed their plans to get away.
“In October, I think – if everything goes according to our plan – but if not then, soon after that, we’re gonna go on our honeymoon because we had to go to work, she had to go to work this summer and we didn’t get to travel,” Alec told Billy. “So, we’re going to go away on a nice trip.”
And with “30 Rock” coming to a close after 13 episodes airing this fall on NBC, the actor will find himself with more time on his hands – something Alec welcomes.
“As of now, I am [ready for the show to end.] I wasn’t. I was sad, I was like ‘Oh God, no!’ But you want to know something, now I’m great,” Alec explained.
Will this allow the 56-year-old actor and his 28-year-old wife to start a family together?
“I think we need a little time to be married first, no?” Hilaria said. “Everybody is trying to rush me.”
“We’re definitely going [to] do that… definitely,” Alec said.
In the meantime, the couple has their hands full with another little one.
“But we have a puppy,” Hilaria told Billy
“We have a dog and we want to get another dog, I mean, it’s all about that, home, family, we’ll have a baby all that stuff,” the “30 Rock” star said.
“Eventually,” Hilaria added.
