Alexis Bledel is a mom!
The actress
gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, with husband Vincent Kartheiser last
fall, her rep confirmed to Access Hollywood on Wednesday.
Alexis and
Vincent kept their happy news private for months, but her “Gilmore
Girls” co-star Scott Patterson may have spilled the beans in a recent
interview with Glamour.
“She’s
really blossomed as a woman and now she’s a proud new mother and married and
happy,” he told the mag of Alexis, with whom he reunited on set for the
upcoming “Gilmore Girls” revival expected to hit Netflix later this
year.
Scott
explained how he and Alexis bonded over new parenthood, and revealed that he
was able to give her a few pointers.
“We’re
comparing notes because my son is about a year and a half older than her young
son. I’m showing her photos and videos and what to expect,” he said.
Alexis
isn’t the first Hollywood star to welcome a little one under the radar.
As

Amada was born on April 29 – just two weeks after reports surfaced that they
were expecting again.
Alexis
and Vincent wed in 2014, two years after they first met when she had a
guest-starring arc on the fifth season of “Mad Men.”
