Allison Williams Debuts Peter Pan Look, Did The Actress Chop Her Hair?

Fans are getting their first look at “Girls” star Allison Williams as the boy who refused to grow up in NBC’s upcoming “Peter Pan Live!”

“The transformation begins! My first shoot as Pan,” the 26-year-old actress wrote in the caption of an Instagram pic on Wednesday, showing off her Peter Pan costume.

But did the actress chop off her long locks to play the male role?

“Fun fact: I was all ready to cut my hair, then was told by the folks who actually know what they’re doing that a wig works better for everybody,” she continued.

Adding, “So, December 4th, here we come. #wiglife #peterpanlive #nbc”

Allison (daughter of NBC News’ Brian Williams) will co-star in the musical with Christopher Walken, who is playing Captain Hook in the NBC musical.
