Alyson Hannigan: ‘HIMYM’ Set To Change With Arrival Of Neil Patrick Harris’ Twins

With the birth of Neil Patrick Harris’ twins, things on the set of “How I Met Your Mother” are going to change, so says co-star Alyson Hannigan.

“It’s great because now, the majority of the cast has children, so it’s gonna be baby central,” Alyson told Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts at ELLE’s 17th Annual Women In Hollywood Tribute in Beverly Hills on Monday.

Alyson said things on the set changed somewhat when she and Cobie Smulders both had babies last year, but now, the CBS comedy is set for a behind-the-scenes upheaval with the arrival of NPH’s babies.

“It already was [baby central] because the two women have babies, but now we’ve got the third [cast member] on board – we rule!” she enthused.

Alyson said she has seen the twins Neil welcomed with partner David Burtka, last week.

“The pictures! The babies are adorable,” she said. “I’m so excited.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Neil announced the arrival of his twins via Twitter last Friday.

“Babies!! On 10/12, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace entered the Burtka-Harris fold,” Neil Tweeted. “All of us are happy, healthy, tired… And a little pukey.”

According to numerous reports, the couple’s twins were born with the help of a surrogate.
