The actress-turned-aspiring designer then turned her sights on the media.

“They continue to write lies about me and it really hurts my feelings because they are calling me insane and I’m actually really smart,” she continued. “I finally hired the best lawyer in new york city to sue in Touch magazine because they are utterly insane and & lying to the public about me… I’m also suing Star magazine for doing the exact same thing and the true definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

Adding, “So I’m laughing all the way to the bank because I will sue them all. I will sue anyone in the media who lies about me and says I ever gave them an interview when I never gave literally any magazine a quote.”

Amanda also claimed a magazine cover is in her future.

“I am getting married and my boyfriend and I are going to be on the cover People magazine,” she wrote. “Because although they have made up things about me before, they will omit any error they’ve made.”

Among the headlines involving the actress in recent days, was a report that she was allegedly caught shoplifting from Barney’s New York.

Access spoke to the New York City Police Department who said that police were called to Barney’s New York on Wednesday at 2:36 PM after Bynes allegedly left the store wearing a hat without paying for it. She was escorted back into the store by Barney’s security and she signed the stores’ “No Trespass Affidavit.” She was not arrested by NYDP.
