Baby’s first
close-up! Amber Tamblyn and David Cross are showing off an adorable peek at
their newborn daughter.
“Good
morning, world! Marlow loves you!” Amber wrote on Tuesday, captioning an
Instagram photo of the couple’s little one smiling for the camera.
The actress
also commented on the wispy curls peeking out from behind Marlow’s ears.

“My daughter is growing her payos out nicely,” she joked.
David had already poked gentle fun at Marlow’s signature locks on his own Instagram account, while sharing the same photo on Monday.

“Somehow my wife gave birth to a 55-year-old furrier from Crown Heights,” he teased in his caption, referencing a neighborhood in Brooklyn.
Marlow may
want to get used to her parents’ sense of humor. In February, Amber used an
over-the-top faux name to introduce her and David’s bundle of joy.
“David and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey Jr.” she wrote on Instagram at the time, captioning a video of Marlow’s tiny foot wrapped in a blanket.
Two weeks later, the 33-year-old took a more emotional tone while revealing the infant’s actual name. Amber posted an Instagram snap of a personalized note to Marlow from Hillary Clinton, in which the former presidential candidate wished her “a lifetime of amazing accomplishments and adventures, full of love, learning and friendship.”

Judging from Amber’s caption, the gesture was clearly something she took to heart.
“The one day I decide to put mascara on Hillary Clinton sends us this letter for our daughter. Crying now,” she wrote.
