Lazaro Arbos finally made his “Idol” exit, after the judges once again decided not to use their save.

“Lazaro, we love you,” Randy Jackson said. “You’ve been a treasure to this show, we enjoyed you, but we’re not gonna use the save.”

“Ok, sounds good. No problem guys,” Lazaro said.

The young man, 22, made an impact with viewers, overcoming his stutter to sing beautiful renditions of many songs over the competition. Wednesday night, however, was a low point for the performer, who had trouble singing in the right key.

Lazaro was – until Thursday’s elimination – the lone male left standing in Season 12.

The show will continue next week with just women competing for the top prize, including Amber Holcomb who had been in Thursday’s Bottom 2.
