‘American Idol’ Finalist Crystal Bowersox Back In Ohio

“American Idol” top three finalist Crystal Bowersox is visiting her Ohio home turf, where she last performed to empty bar stools and played for tips.

Those days are over. Bowersox has returned Friday for a parade and mini-concert for thousands of hometown folks rooting for the bluesy, dreadlocked singer on the Fox singing competition.

The 24-year-old musician and single mother from northwest Ohio is scheduled to perform the short concert in downtown Toledo around noon and then sing a few songs at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds later in the day.

She’s also slated to sing the national anthem at the Toledo Mud Hens night baseball game.

This season’s “American Idol” winner will be crowned on May 26.
