American Idol Phillip Phillips To Release Debut Album In November

Following up on the success of his hit single, “Home,” “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips will release his debut album next month.

The album, called “The World From The Side of the of the Moon,” will drop via 19 Entertainment/Interscope Records on November 19.

The effort was recorded at Quad Studios in New York City and was produced by Gregg Wattenberg, who previously worked with Train.

Phillip may not have written “Home,” but he wrote or co-wrote most of the album, his label said on Monday.

The album is also a bit of a family affair. Phillip’s brother-in-law Ben Neil plays guitar on some of the tracks.
