‘America’s Next Top Model’ Heads To NYC For New Season

The latest installment of “America’s Next Top Model” kicks off tonight with a twist – it’ll be based out of New York City this season.

The popular CW show, hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks, moved to New York after spending its previous seasons based out of Los Angeles.

Fourteen finalists, ranging in age from 18 to 24, and from across the US, will compete for the title, judged by a panel, which will now include supermodel Paulina Porizkova.

This won’t be Paulina’s first experience in reality TV. She starred on the fourth season of “Dancing With the Stars,” but was booted after the first week.

Returning to the panel of judges this year are photographer Nigel Barker, and runway diva extraordinaire, J. Alexander. As always, Tyra will lead the panel.

Jay Manuel remains as photo shoot art director.

The winner of the newest season of “America’s Next Top Model” will score a contract with the prestigious Elite Model Management. They will also nab a $100,00 contract with CoverGirl. Seventeen magazine will feature the winner in an upcoming cover shoot and six-page fashion spread.
