Amy Adams ‘Excited, Nervous’ Over First Pregnancy

As she prepares to be a first-time mom, Amy Adams admits she’s a bit nervous, as expected.

“I feel great. I’m feeling really good,” Amy told Access Hollywood during the junket for her new romantic comedy, “Leap Year,” over the weekend. “Excited, nervous – but mostly excited.”

A rep for the actress confirmed the pregnancy last week to Access.

It will be the first child for Amy and fiance Darren Le Gallo, who announced their engagement in July 2008.

And while the New Year will bring a new addition to the family, one thing 2010 won’t bring for Amy – who said she’s in her second trimester – are any new year’s resolutions.

“I really haven’t set any,” she admitted. “I think what I came up with was to have no regrets because usually I set a resolution and I don’t really follow through and then I have regrets. So this year, maybe no resolution. That’s my resolution – to roll with it. I think this will be my year of just rolling with it.”

“Leap Year,” co-starring Matthew Goode, opens on January 8, 2010.
