Amy Poehler Misses ‘SNL’ — For Birth Of Baby Archie!

Amy Poehler will miss tonight’s episode of “Saturday Night Live” thanks to the birth of her son, Access Hollywood has learned.

“On behalf of Amy and Will, I can confirm that Amy gave birth to Archie Arnett on Saturday, October 25th,” a rep for the star told Access. “He is 8 lbs 1 oz. Amy, Will and Archie are all healthy and resting comfortably.”

A source on the scene told Access earlier on Saturday that the Weekend Update anchor was out of rehearsals delivering her baby.

Archie, the first child for Amy and husband Will Arnett, arrived a day early — he was due on Sunday, October 26.

The couple announced Amy’s pregnancy in April. They have been married since 2003.

The two comedians are best known for their roles in “Saturday Night Live” and “Arrested Development,” respectively. They starred alongside each other as sibling skaters in 2007’s “Blades of Glory.”

“SNL” may have seen the last of Amy — according to reports, she’s set to leave the show to star in a new companion series to “The Office” for NBC. And according to Variety, husband Will has a new sitcom of his own in the works at Fox.

The couple will reportedly be moving to LA to work on their new projects and start their family.
