Amy Schumer’s sexy “Star Wars” spread for GQ magazine got the ultimate seal of approval – a thumbs up from Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill.
The actor Tweeted his appreciation for the “Trainwreck” star/writer’s recent photo shoot for the men’s mag, which featured Amy (sporting multiple “Star Wars”-esque costumes, including Princess Leia’s famed metal bikini) in sexually suggestive situations with C-3PO, R2-D2, a lightsaber and more.
In fact, Mark would welcome the comedian to the “Star Wars” franchise with open arms.
“Got excited when I saw @amyschumer @GQMagazine pics & thought she was just cast in Ep 8!” he Tweeted on Saturday. “We should be so lucky.”

While Mark believes The Force is strong with Amy, LucasFilm and Disney were less enthused.
Responding to multiple Twitter users’ complaints regarding the photo shoot, the official Star Wars Twitter account Tweeted, “Lucasfilm & Disney didn’t approve, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner.”
