Andrew Garfield Talks Suiting Up As Spider-Man & Working With Emma Stone

Donning the iconic web-slinger’s suit in the “Spider-Man” reboot was a mix of emotions for star Andrew Garfield.

“It was incredibly exciting. It was wonderful, it was lovely, overwhelming and terrifying,” the 27-year-old actor told Access Hollywood when asked about trying on the costume for the first time at “The Social Network” Blu-ray & DVD launch event on Thursday in Los Angeles.

While he has already slipped into the red and blue suit, the actor has yet to soar the skies on the end of a web.

“There hasn’t been any of that quite yet, maybe at some point I’m sure there will be,” he continued.

The actor beamed when asked about working with co-star Emma Stone, who’s playing Gwen Stacey.

“She’s incredibly talented and fun, kind of fun to hang around with. I’m really so happy that she’s doing it. She’s awesome,” he added.

The “Spider-Man” reboot is slated to swing into theaters in July 2012.
