Andrew Koenig’s Parents Ask Public To Help Find Their Son

The search for missing “Growing Pains” actor Andrew Koenig continues and his parents, Walter & Judy Koenig, appeared on NBC’s the “Today” show Wednesday morning asking for the public’s help.

“It’s very, very tough,” actor Walter Koenig, best known for playing Pavel Chekov on “Star Trek,” said during the interview.

Andrew’s mother, Judy, said she hopes her son knows how missed and loved he is.

“He is much loved and beloved in this world, and I just hope he gets that feeling,” she said.

When asked if he believed that Andrew might have hurt himself, the former “Star Trek” star said he’s trying to stay positive.

“I don’t want to think that way,” an emotional Walter said of his son who has been missing since February 14. “I’m trying very hard not to feel that way.”

Andrew’s parents asked if anyone has seen their son to contact authorities.

The 41-year-old former “Growing Pains” star was last seen at a bakery in the Stanley Park area of Vancouver, British Columbia. “Today” reported that police say there is no evidence of foul play at this time.
