Cheers from Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt – literally!
The star couple is set to launch their own wine label.
According to wine magazine Decanter and Bloomberg, Brad and Angelina will launch Miraval, a wine from their 1,000-acre estate, Chateau Miraval, in Correns, France, which they began leasing in 2008 and now own.
The wine is a joint project with the Perrin family, who ownChateau Beaucastel, in the Chateauneuf-du- Pape region of the southern Rhone Valley in France.
“We are intimately involved and quite enthused over the wine project with our friends the Perrin family,” Pitt said in a statement to Bloomberg.
A rose wine, which was previously produced under the name Pink Floyd – after the band who recorded the iconic “The Wall” album at the chateau’s recording studio, Studio Miraval – will debut in March.
Winemaker Marc Perrin told Bloomberg that the star couple plan to release a great product.
“If you knew Brad and Angelina, you would see they are in search of perfection in everything,” he told Bloomberg.
A Miraval white will debut at the end of summer and reds in 2014.
