Angelina Jolie Raises Awareness Of World Refugee Day

Angelina Jolie has released a PSA in honor of World Refugee Day on Wednesday.

The actress, who also serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency, hopes to spotlight the millions of people around the globe who have “survived war… displacement… rape… hunger and disease.”

“For those who have survived and for those who did not, we are thinking of you on this day,” Angelina says in the emotional and thought-provoking clip.

Angelina’s message of goodwill is yet another humanitarian effort from the Pitt-Jolie family. Angelina’s partner, Brad Pitt, is spearheading a campaign to build homes for residents of New Orleans who were devastated by hurricane Katrina.
