Angelina Jolie’s ‘Better Wife’ Aspirations

Angelina Jolie has conquered Hollywood, and now she’s looking to reign supreme in the culinary world — well, at least in her own kitchen.

The Oscar winner opened up in an interview with Tom Brokaw, a portion of which aired on Tuesday’s “Today” show, where she spoke about changes she’s looking to make since marrying Brad Pitt.

“I think we have more moments where I say, ‘I’m going to be a better wife. I’m going to learn to cook,’ and he says, ‘Oh honey, know what you’re good at, know what you’re not.’ But I do have my, ‘No, no, no I’m going to get this wife thing down,’ but he knows my limitations and where I’m a good wife and a good mom,” she said.

But have things changed for the superstar couple since getting married?

“It did change,” she explained. “We were fortunate enough to be in that unusual situation, we got married with our [six] children and they were part of the ceremony. It was all of us agreeing to be together and to just commit to this life together. Not because we had to … because we were absolutely sure we felt that much of a family.”

Angelina and Brad spent their honeymoon filming “By the Sea,” the story of a couple’s trouble marriage, which the 39-year-old also directed.

“[Shooting ‘By the Sea’] felt like the appropriate thing to do on our honeymoon,” she said with a laugh. “We wanted to try things; we wanted to push each other; we wanted to be artists and see what we could make.”

The co-starring couple also had to contend with Angelina being Brad’s boss on the project.

“I’m sure I had many moments with the actor, and I’m sure he had many moments with the director,” she added with a laugh.
