Anne Hathaway’s Oscars Look: 7 Days Of Beauty At The Oscars (#5)

Before Anne Hathaway took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, the star walked the red carpet in a powder-pink Prada gown.

Anne’s look made headlines because she changed her look just hours before arriving. The actress was slated to sport Valentino and the fashion house – who she has worn many times over the years – even sent out a press release saying the actress was wearing one of their dresses.

Anne cleared up the style snafu after the ceremony releasing a statement.

“It came to my attention late Saturday night that there would be a dress worn to the Oscars that is remarkably similar to the Valentino I had intended to wear, and so I decided it was best for all involved to change my plans. Though I love the dress I did wear, it was a difficult last-minute decision as I had so looked forward to wearing Valentino in honor of the deep and meaningful relationship I have enjoyed with the house and with Valentino himself. I deeply regret any disappointment caused,” the Oscar winner said in a statement.

It is not known who Anne was referring to, but Jennifer Aniston and Sally Field also wore Valentino to the Oscars.
