It’s the second Cyrus split this month.
On the heels of the news that Miley Cyrus’ parents – Billy Ray and Tish – were divorcing, Miley also finds herself a single gal, again.
Miley and her on-again/off-again beau, Liam Hemsworth, have split again, according to People.
“Their on- and off-again relationship is currently off,” a source told the mag.
While Billy Ray & Tish’s separation has been marred by scandal, with allegations that Miley’s mom had an affair with rocker Bret Michaels (an allegation which reps for both Bret and Tish have denied), it appears Miley’s split from her “The Last Song” co-star was drama-free.
“There was no drama. The relationship just ran its course. They were good friends first and remain friends,” People’s source added.
The two young stars began dating in 2009 after meeting on the “The Last Song” set. However, in August of this year, a rep for the 20-year-old Aussie actor confirmed he had split from the 17-year-old pop superstar.
Of course, there’s always the chance the two could get back together – again.
“But you never know with Miley and Liam. They could be back on at some point,” People’s source concluded.
