‘Arrow’ Star Stephen Amell Brings Back ‘F— Cancer’ Charity Campaign

Stephen Amell is aiming to take his charity fundraising into seven-digit territory.

The “Arrow” star is bringing back his recent “F*** Cancer” campaign, hoping to raise the final dollars needed to hit $1 million for the charity.

Earlier this year, Stephen released a T-shirt featuring his face on the front (he had a Post-it note on his forehead in the pic, featuring the organization’s name). And, to date, sales of shirts and hoodies have come very close to the $1 million mark.

“I saw a bunch of them outside the theater,” Stephen told Access Hollywood on Saturday, when we asked about his F*** Cancer campaign’s success, while he was on the black carpet for the crossover screening of “The Flash” and “Arrow.” “That was many, many, many, many thousand more than we ever could have expected. I had a friend of mine – ’cause we ended up raising $947K+, and I had a friend of mine just very passively go, ‘You know, shame you couldn’t make it to a million!'”

Asked on Saturday if he might extend the sale of his shirts (which have been sold in limited bursts) to hit the number, Stephen told Access it was likely.

“If one more person makes that joke then I’m probably going to end up extending it. I’m gonna actually talk to them, you know, Christmas is coming up, I don’t know maybe do like a 24-hour thing, right around black Friday, something like that,” he said at the time.

On Monday, Stephen stayed true to his prediction.

“The people have spoken!! Shirts are being relaunched Friday. Details are coming soon,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

“And I would like to thank all the people who made passive aggressive jokes about this campaign ALMOST raising a million bucks. Robbie Amell in particular,” he added, with a reference to his cousin, who appears on “The Flash.”
