As A Kid, Katy Perry Longed To Look Like Kate Moss; Learned To Love Her ‘Enormous’ Bust

Katy Perry might be best known for showing off her god-given talents on stage and in her music videos, but as a kid, the singer wished she had the body of a svelte supermodel instead of her now signature curves.

“I had enormous boobs that I didn’t know what to do with, so I wore minimizers, which were not cute. Those thick-a** straps! I got made fun of for the over-the-shoulder boulder holder,” the singer/actress said in ELLE’s March issue.

In fact, Katy longed to have the body of one of the world’s most successful supermodels.

“All I wanted was to look like Kate Moss,” she continued. “Little did I know…that these things would come in handy someday.”

The 26-year-old said new husband Russell Brand, 35, wasn’t hung up on her looks when they first met.

“Everything clicked really fast,” the pop star said of her husband, whom she wed in October. “We kind of instantly got past all the surfacey stuff. And ever since then, there hasn’t been a dull moment.”

Looking ahead, Katy envisions expanding her family with her British funnyman.

“I want to have kids!” Perry told the mag. “I’m totally fine with saying that. I think some people are … worried it’s going to ruin their career, but I want to live a full life.”
