The “CSI: NY” team is about to set their sights on two celebrity suspects – Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz.
The couple will guest star on an upcoming episode of the show, a spokesperson for CBS confirmed to Access Hollywood.
While no details were available, Entertainment Weekly reports Ashlee and Pete won’t be playing themselves – instead, they’ll appear as “Bonnie and Clyde wannabes.”
The episode featuring the proud new parents is slated to air March 18.
But Ashlee and Pete aren’t the only singing stars headed for a guest stint in a “CSI” show.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, country star Taylor Swift will make an appearance on an upcoming episode of “CSI.”
Taylor will play Haley Jones, a teen whose family runs a seedy Las Vegas motel.
Meanwhile, Diddy will guest star on two episodes of “CSI: Miami,” as a prosecutor who doesn’t get along with police Lt. Horatio Caine, played by David Caruso.
