Ashton Kutcher’s Love-Hate Interest Cast In ‘Two And A Half Men’

Judy Greer is heading to “Two and a Half Men,” according to a new report.

The actress will play Bridget, the estranged wife of Ashton Kutcher’s Walter Schmidt, a source told The Wrap.

Bridget is expected to be the woman who causes Walter heartache, which will propel Ashton’s storyline and ultimately lead to him taking in Jon Cryer’s Alan Harper and Angus T. Jones’ Jake Harper.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jon revealed how Walter takes Alan and Jake in to the same home where they were living with Charlie Sheen’s Charlie Harper, who will die in the first episode back.

“All of us on the set keep referring to the first episode back as the ‘pilot’ by mistake. [Showrunner] Chuck [Lorre] and I were standing around joking about trying to pitch this show and how ridiculous it would sound to a development executive: ‘The guy’s been divorced and his brother just passed away, but he meets this billionaire with a broken heart and…’ It’s like, I would never buy that show,” Jon said, “But it’s working amazingly well.”

The actor also noted that Alan would be helping Walter through his love troubles.

“Alan becomes sort of a mentor character to Ashton’s character,” Jon said. “I’m a terrible mentor. And that’s where a lot of the fun of the show comes from.”

“Two and a Half Men” returns to CBS on September 19 at 9/8 C.
