Authorities: Blood Alcohol Tests Still Not Back In Shia LaBeouf Crash Investigation

Almost a month after Shia LaBeouf was involved in a collision in Hollywood that resulted in his arrest on suspicion of drunk driving, and surgery to his left hand, a Sheriff’s Department spokesperson tells Access Hollywood the results of the actor’s blood alcohol tests have not been received yet.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, LaBeouf was injured in a crash as he attempted to make a left hand turn at the corner of Fountain and La Brea in Hollywood in the early hours of July 27.

LaBeouf, his passenger, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” co-star Isabel Lucas, and a woman from the other vehicle involved in the collision were taken to an area hospital following the crash. Both women were released, but LaBeouf underwent hand surgery just hours after the crash. He was arrested at the hospital on suspicion of DUI and released.

The actor is not suspected by authorities of having caused the crash, but the other, still-to-be-identified driver of the second car, is listed as “Party 1,” on the police report. Additionally, LaBeouf’s lawyer claims they have information the other driver may have been speeding and looking in another direction at the time of impact.

Access Hollywood confirmed no one has been charged over the incident to date.

LaBeouf has since returned to the set of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”

Previously, the film’s director, Michael Bay, claimed to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush that LaBeouf was not drunk at the time of the crash.

“You’re gonna see — that’s gonna go away,” Bay claimed . “He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before.”
