Spoiler alert! Brad Womack will not infuriate women across the nation by repeating his 2007 double-dump faux pas.
The 38-year-old hunk stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday and revealed that he is happily no longer a “bachelor.”
“I can say this: the ending of the show had an unbelievably positive outcome for me,” Brad told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. “I’m a happy guy.”
“So, you’ve chosen someone?” Billy asked Brad. “Women aren’t going to come after you with pitchforks and fire and everything because you’ve done it again?”
“No, I did find somebody, and I give you my word, it’s very real,” Brad told Billy and Kit. “I would never say I’m in love with somebody if I wasn’t. I am happily in love. I promise.”
The hilarious co-hosts attempted to squeeze a hint out of Brad as to the identity of his newfound lady love – including the possibility of a relationship with Madison, a contestant with a particularly sharp smile.
“Does [the winner] have fangs?” Billy asked Brad, referring to the blond model’s vampire-like canines.
“Maybe, maybe not,” Brad laughed. “I actually kind of liked [Madison’s fangs]. If that’s really who she is, great.
“It makes her different,” he added.
“Did she chisel them?” Billy continued. “Was she born with those, or did she file them down?”
“The fangs come out later on, so, they’re not real,” Brad explained. “It’s kind of part of her persona.”
While some may deem Brad “fame hungry” for returning to the show after his first run as Season 11’s “Bachelor,” the Texan said he takes his relationship search “really seriously.”
“People don’t believe that because it’s a reality show and everything, but I do take relationships seriously,” Brad told Billy and Kit.
“[Brad] said to me off camera, ‘All I want is a wife and kids and to go back to my life in Austin,’” Kit added.
After famously dumping finalists DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft in 2007 on national television, Brad credits his successful second search for love to confronting his fear of commitment and abandonment issues (stemming from his childhood) head on through therapy.
“I’ve been in some really good relationships in the past that haven’t worked out,” Brad told Billy and Kit. “I was the common denominator in those endings, so, what’s the problem? I wanted to evaluate that.
“So, I analyzed all of that and I came back a better person,” he added. “I truly, truly am much better.”
