‘Bachelor’ Jake Pavelka Joins ‘Drop Dead Diva’

Reality star Jake Pavelka – who has already played the part of the single guy on “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” – will play the part once again on “Drop Dead Diva.”

Jake is slated to guest star on the Lifetime series as Toby Davlin on the series’ faux show, “Finding the One,” Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The character’s storyline will center around the producer of the faux show, who is being sued for “intentionally inflicting emotional harm” after Jake’s character breaks the heart of a bachelorette.

“I am honored to be a part of ‘Drop Dead’ Diva this season,” Jake told People. “[I] cannot wait to meet the cast and crew.”

According to “Diva” executive producer Josh Berman, Jake was a natural fit for the role.

“When Jake came into the office to audition for the role, the whole production came to a stop,” Berman told the mag. “Everyone wanted to talk with him. He was so gracious and charming. He was spot-on and won the role in the room.”

He will reportedly start shooting his scenes on June 18 and his episode, “Good Grief,” will air on August 22.
