‘Bachelor’ Runner-Up Lindzi Cox: ‘Happy With How Things Ended’ With Ben Flajnik

Ben Flajnik picked Courtney Robertson over Lindzi Cox on the season finale of “The Bachelor,” and Lindzi is OK with his decision.

“If a [girl like] Courtney is going to be the kind of girl that makes him happy… I don’t know if he and I would have been compatible in the end,” Lindzi, 27, told Access Hollywood on Tuesday. “In hindsight, I’m like, ‘Would it have worked out?’”

Despite not being Ben’s choice, the business development manager says she’s at peace with his decision.

“I’m legitimately happy with how things ended,” she explained. “He made his decision and I have to accept that, I’m happy for him and happy for Courtney… I wish them nothing but the best.”

Lindzi said she has not spoken to Ben or Courtney since filming wrapped and watching the season unfold left her in shock at times.

“I, along with the rest of America, watched and said, ‘Oh my God, she said that? That was really mean,’” she said of Courtney’s sometimes catty comments. “She shouldn’t [even] think those things!”

Lindzi told Access that she was at “The Bachelor’s After the Final Rose” taping, but decided – along with the show’s producers – not to appear alongside Ben or Courtney.

“I ended up not coming out because I heard things got pretty emotional when they were out together,” she said, explaining that she felt her presence would only complicate things.

Now that Ben’s decision is out in the open, Lindzi is free to date – something she’s ready for!

“I have my eye on a couple of striking new victims, this week I’m gonna go crazy… Watch out boys!” she told Access with a laugh.

And reality TV fans just might see more of Lindzi in the future.

“I think I would [be open to doing ‘The Bachelorette’]… Definitely something I’m open to,” she told Access. “‘Bachelor Pad’ would [also] be so fun.”
