‘Bachelorette’ Andi Dorfman & Josh Murray Call Off Engagement

Things aren’t so peachy for Georgia peach Andi Dorfman.

The fantasy is over for the former “Bachelorette” star and fiance Josh Murray, as the two announced their split in a joint statement on Thursday.

“After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it’s best for both of us to go our separate ways,” the couple said, according to People. “We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what’s best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best.”

Andi and Josh seemingly covered up their hardship on Monday night, putting on brave faces for the live season premiere of “The Bachelor.” The bride-to-be even flashed her massive engagement ring in front of the Access Hollywood camera.

But, did the one-time lovebirds start showing signs of a crack in their relationship?

“No wedding planning yet. We just haven’t been able to settle down yet, so we’re looking forward to doing that finally in 2015 now that it’s here,” Josh said of stalling their walk down the aisle.

Andi flirtatiously poked fun at Josh, but in hindsight, perhaps she was hinting at something deeper than the joke on the surface.

“You have something about the blondes,” she teased Josh of his own preference in ladies when discussing the kind of gal she envisions “Bachelor” Chris Soules to select — before adding, “Used to.”

When prompted to comment on Chris’ field of 30 women, Josh said, “Good for him. I’ve never had 30 women at one time before.”

“Yeah right, don’t lie,” Andi replied.

Andi accepted Josh’s romantic proposal on the season finale of “The Bachelorette,” which aired in July 2014.
